About PiC

“Partners in Community is about all of Clinton coming together to help inspire positive attitudes and empower healthy choices in our youth and adults.”

Next PIC Meeting

7-8 PM

Town Hall Annex

BEaves@clintonct.org

The mission of PiC is to promote an environment that supports a healthy, drug-free lifestyle and positive development for our youth.

This will be accomplished by working to inspire and empower the residents of Clinton to connect, talk and take action on matters that affect the well-being of our young people.

Substance use, how we deal with stress, and how we treat each other can all be influenced by the kinds of values and experiences that our entire community upholds. This requires a community-wide conversation and effort, which Partners in Community strives to model and inspire.

Our 2022-23 Coalition

We represent 12 sectors in the community: youth, parents, business people, media, school representatives, youth-serving organizations, religious groups, police, local government, medical practitioners, civic group members, and others that are involved with reducing substance use.

“I joined because I firmly believe in the power of committed people coming together in unity to find every way possible to keep our community growing healthy in body, mind, and spirit.”

– Nancy Williams

Partners in Community is an open membership coalition for both youth and adults in Clinton. All members come to the table as equals, with equal voices and equal contributions.

We meet every month to discuss substance use issues within our community and seek ways to promote health and reduce harmful behaviors. Coalition Members make a formal commitment to support our collective efforts. Learn more about member expectations and get involved!
